Hui Chun San is composed of artificial musk, asparagus, artificial hyssop, Sichuan Bei Mu, whole scorpion, silkworms, half-summer, wooden incense, hook vine, Citrus aurantium, licorice, gall bladder star, sandalwood, cardamom, sedum, Chen Pi, cinnabar, guanzhu Huang, Qing Nin (acacia, peach leaf, rhubarb, malt, plantain seed, lateral cypress leaf, Hou Pu, black soybean, atractylodes macrocephala, chen Pi, scullcap, half-summer, mungbean, fragrant adder and mulberry twig).
Hui Chun San has the efficacy of dispelling wind and expelling phlegm, clearing away heat and calming fright. It is used in treating cold and fever, pediatric convulsion (a pediatric disease mainly manifested by dizziness, apoplexy and convulsions), cough and asthma, vomiting and diarrhea.
Athletes should not use this product. Caution should be exercised in cases of dizziness due to deficiency of qi and blood. Avoid spicy, thick and greasy food. Adverse effects and contraindications of this product are not clear, need to be used under the guidance of a doctor.
