The preferred sites of colon cancer, in descending order, are the right hemicolectomy, sigmoid colon, rectum, transverse colon and descending colon, and finally the cecum and appendix. Colon cancer is a common gastrointestinal malignancy, and the clinical classification of colon cancer is generally based on the anatomical location of the colon. The human colon, starting from the end of the small intestine to the anus, is divided into cecum, appendix, ascending colon, transverse colon, descending colon, sigmoid colon, and finally connected with the rectum and anus. Ascending colon is also called right half colon, and descending colon is also called left half colon. Colon cancer has the highest incidence rate, that is, the best part is ascending colon, that is, right half colon cancer, then sigmoid colon cancer, rectal cancer, transverse colon cancer and descending colon cancer, while cecum cancer and appendix cancer are the least common. For example, the incidence rate of right hemicolectomized colon cancer in men has been relatively stable in recent years, while the incidence rate in women is obviously dominant. In the last 30 years, the incidence of right hemicolectomized colon cancer in black people has increased more significantly than that in white people.
