What’s the best way to see a cardiologist?

There are two departments that you can visit for heart disease, either cardiovascular medicine or cardiovascular surgery. Cardiovascular medicine can look at many diseases, including heart failure, coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, and various cardiomyopathies, and treats the disease with medical medications as well as interventional means of intervention. Cardiac surgery can be used for open heart surgery for congenital heart disease, valve replacement and repair, and treatment of conditions such as constrictive pericarditis. In case of severe coronary artery disease, pharmacological interventions can be carried out in cardiology; with severe coronary artery stenosis, balloon dilatation or even stent implantation can be carried out, and in case of difficulty in stent implantation or in patients with extensive lesions, cardiac surgery can be used to carry out open-heart and bypass surgeries. If there is any cardiac discomfort, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time for treatment, choosing either cardiovascular medicine or cardiovascular surgery.
