Norfloxacin is indicated for urinary tract infections, gonorrhea, prostatitis, intestinal infections, typhoid fever and other Salmonella infections caused by sensitive bacteria and is administered orally. 10 days for complicated urinary tract infections, the course of treatment is 10-21 days; for simple gonococcal urethritis, the usage is 800-1200mg in a single dose; 3. for acute and chronic prostatitis, 400mg in 1 dose, 2 times a day, the course of treatment is 1 month; for intestinal infections, 300-400mg in 1 dose, 2 times a day, the course of treatment is 5-7 days; 4. for Salmonella infections caused by typhoid fever, 800- 1200mg, divided into 2-3 times, the course of treatment to 14-21 days. Norfloxacin should preferably be taken on an empty stomach with 250ml of water.
