How to correct eyeball proximity through training

The close proximity of the eyes is not corrected by training. The cause needs to be identified and corrected by treating the cause of the disease, for example, adjustable strabismus can be corrected by wearing glasses, and non-adjustable strabismus can be corrected by surgery.
Near eyeball distance, also known as interocular distance, is caused by physiological phenomena in some patients and does not cause abnormalities in visual function, and does not need to be treated. There is no way to change the distance between the eyes by training in any way, so it is not possible to treat physiologic proximity of the eyes.
In some cases, the distance between the eyes is caused by strabismus, for which adjustable strabismus can be corrected with glasses to improve the patient’s appearance. For non-adjustable strabismus, surgical treatment is needed, such as extraocular muscle strengthening or extraocular muscle weakening.
In summary, there is no way to change the patient’s strabismus symptoms through training. Patients who have close eyeball distance should go to the ophthalmology department of the hospital in time, so that the doctor can find out the specific cause and then formulate the appropriate treatment plan.
