What to look for in advanced Hodgkin’s lymphoma pathology results

The pathological findings of Hodgkin’s lymphoma in advanced stages mainly depend on immunohistochemistry, the expression of R-S cells and mutated cells, the proportion of lymphocytes, eosinophils, plasma cells, etc., and the presence or absence of diffuse fibrosis or necrosis. From the pathological findings of Hodgkin’s lymphoma, the subtype of lymphoma can be distinguished according to immunohistochemistry, the degree of malignancy of lymphoma can be judged according to the proportion of R-S cells and mutated cells, and the prognosis can be judged according to the proportion of lymphocytes, eosinophils, and other infiltrating cells, and the presence or absence of diffuse fibrosis. Whether Hodgkin’s lymphoma is early or late stage generally can not be reflected from the pathological results, mainly through CT, magnetic resonance and other imaging examinations to assist in the diagnosis of clinical staging. It is suggested that patients should consult the doctor in time and choose the appropriate treatment according to the pathological results under the doctor’s guidance, so as to avoid delaying the condition.
