What to do about tooth decay in children

Tooth decay in children may be caused by the development of cavities, pulpal infection and inflammation, or white spots on the teeth, which can be treated by filling treatment, root canal treatment, or general treatment.
1. With cavities: Cavities are a type of tooth defect that forms after bacterial invasion, caries and demineralization, leading to tooth decay in children. It can be treated by cleaning the cavity and filling it with filling material.
2. Inflammation of pulp infection: If the damage of the cavity is deep, it means that the pulp has been damaged, making the pulp infected and inflamed. Root canal treatment is needed, and then filling can be done after treatment.
3. White spots on teeth: White spots may be caused by incomplete cleaning of teeth, underdevelopment of tooth enamel and other causes of tooth decay in children. Good oral hygiene and regular review are needed.
Parents are advised to take children to the hospital for regular checkups and early detection and treatment to avoid delaying the condition.
