Quercetin

Quercetin has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and immunomodulatory properties with anti-allergic, antihypertensive, hypolipidemic, coronary artery dilation, and body strengthening effects.

Quercetin is an immune-regulating natural plant synthesizer found in a wide variety of plant foods. It is a flavonoid antioxidant with anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, pain-relieving, expectorant, cough-relieving, asthma-relieving, and age-delaying pharmacological effects.

Various red, green and purple vegetables such as apples, tomatoes, berries, spinach and broccoli contain quercetin. Since quercetin is extracted from natural plants, it has few side effects on the body when taken for short periods of time. Of course there are some risks at very high doses and you need to take it as prescribed by your doctor and avoid taking large doses on your own.
