Can eosinophilic fasciitis be completely cured?

Eosinophilic fasciitis can be cured in most patients, but a few patients may have recurrent disease or the underlying lesions cannot be completely removed. 1. General: Eosinophilic fasciitis is named after the markedly elevated eosinophils in the routine blood tests, and the fasciitis that mainly involves the muscles and shows diffuse inflammation, edema and fibrosis of the muscles. This disease has a certain self-limiting, most patients can be in the onset of 5 years of remission or after hormone therapy and other symptomatic recovery. 2. Special cases: a small number of patients with eosinophilic fasciitis may have fibrosis of the muscle fascia, and it is often difficult to return to the previous state after treatment; and because the pathogenesis of the disease is not yet completely clear, a small number of patients may have recurring conditions and combined with aplastic anemia, leukemia and other conditions, so it is difficult to cure in rare cases. If eosinophilic fasciitis is diagnosed, early and standardized treatment is recommended to reduce the adverse effects of the disease.
