What’s wrong with sore teeth after filling?

Tooth soreness after filling usually occurs under two circumstances: 1. In the process of filling, the tooth is decayed and mechanically prepared according to the condition of the tooth, and the preparation may lead to the filling being too close to the pulp cavity afterwards, at which time the stimulation and pressure of the material will cause the tooth to be sore. The usual way to deal with this situation is to remove the filling material, protect the pulp and pad the tooth, and then refill it, and the soreness can be solved; 2. It is possible that after the preparation of the tooth, especially after using light-curing materials for preparation, acid etching should be performed, and the acid etchant should be applied to the enamel of the tooth in principle, but the acid etchant is difficult to distinguish it from the essence completely in the clinic, and there is a possibility that Acid etchers can cause sensitivity and congestion of the pulp, and in such cases, soreness can occur. If the symptoms are more severe, pulpal protection or pulp capping may be required, and if irreversible pulpitis is reached, root canal treatment should be considered.
