Renal papillary cell carcinoma, also known as papillary cell renal cancer, is a type of kidney cancer in which the cancer cells show papillary growth.
Papillary cell renal cancer is actually a type of kidney cancer, which is called papillary cell renal cancer because the cancer cells show papillary growth, and clinically it is categorized into two different types: type I and type II.
Type I papillary cell renal cancer is relatively less malignant, with slow development and good prognosis, as long as it is actively treated, it can be well controlled and realize long time survival.
Type II papillary cell renal cancer has higher malignancy and is prone to metastasis to lymph nodes and distal organs. Early stage of papillary cell renal cancer, after radical surgery to remove the lesion, there is a chance to recover; while in middle and late stage of papillary cell renal cancer, only radiotherapy and chemotherapy can prolong the survival period.
Papillary cell renal cancer is also a malignant tumor, we need to pay enough attention to it and treat it actively.
