How to treat dental fluorosis?

Porcelain veneers can be used to improve the color and shape of fluorosis teeth. Fluorosis is better than moderate tetracycline teeth, because often only the surface enamel is discolored, and the color is much whiter after grinding away a thin layer. Porcelain veneers damage less tooth tissue and have less impact on the pulpal nerve, so if conditions allow, porcelain veneer restoration should be given priority, if there are a lot of caries and the tooth is not very complete, porcelain crown restoration may be needed. Porcelain crown restoration needs to grind away a lot of dentin. Tooth irregularity is more troublesome, if it is only mildly uneven, it can be corrected by veneers or crowns, but the degree is heavy, it cannot be repaired by veneers or crowns alone, it needs to be orthodontically corrected first before using porcelain veneers to change the color and shape.
