Female with varying degrees of dental fluorosis. Upper 3-3 with yellowish brown streaks; chalky fluorosis on premolar and lower anterior teeth. Requires improvement of the maxillary anterior teeth (3-3) and no treatment of the remaining teeth (the lower anterior teeth were crowded and the orthodontist consultation concluded that extraction of the lingually inclined lower right 2 and local correction would be sufficient). The patient expected the teeth to be as white as possible. The final restoration plan was determined to be upper 3-3 cast porcelain veneer restoration. The patient complained that he would rather accept the black color in the middle of the incisors after the veneer restoration than to have the decay or pulp killed again. VITA-3D intraoral colorimetric plate, the patient complained that he wanted 1M1, and after communication, he chose 1M2 (lower anterior teeth with slightly lighter fluorosis, near 1M2). Problems before restoration: 1 yellowish brown fluorosis staining of upper 3-3; 2 right 12 crown incisal end longer than left 12, asymmetrical (analysis determined to lower right 12 crown height); 3 right 1 gingival margin lower than left 1 Before restoration After restoration: color was greatly improved, anterior curve was corrected, gingival margin basically maintained at its original level, gingival margin was healthy After restoration, black dentin between the central incisors was still not completely covered, which was the flaw in this case. If the patient agrees to a second decontamination or a full crown after pulpotomy, the result will be better.
