Rehabilitation training after ACL rupture reconstruction is carried out according to the early, middle and late stages. The common contents are to improve the range of motion of the joints and increase the knee stabilization training, so as to achieve the purpose of recovery of motor function. 1. Early rehabilitation: towel roll stretching on the affected side, prone position suspension training; quadriceps muscle re-learning (quadriceps electrical stimulation); patella loosening; active flexion/assisted straightening 0°~90°; and straight leg raising exercises in all directions. 2. Intermediate rehabilitation: progressive weight bearing or weight bearing within tolerable range when quadriceps control is good; stirrup exercises; small-scale static squatting/center of gravity shifting; hamstring/gastrocnemius flexibility training; progressive hip and hamstring resistance exercises. 3. Post-rehabilitation: progressive static squatting exercises; beginning downward step exercises; leg stirrups; stride backwards or backward running platform exercises. It is recommended that after ACL rupture reconstruction, comprehensive rehabilitation training under the guidance of a doctor is needed to avoid aggravating the discomfort and causing secondary injuries.
