Acupuncture points for cervical spondylosis include Hang Zhong point, Shen Wei point, Hou Xi point, Tian Zhu point and Cervical Pincer Spine point.
1. Hang Zhong point is located in the lateral part of the lower leg, three inches above the tip of the outer ankle, at the anterior edge of the fibula. This point is the meeting point of the medulla oblongata, which can benefit the medulla oblongata, generate blood, and relax the tendons and collaterals.
2. Shen Wei point, on the foot, is located below the tip of the outer ankle, in the depression between the lower edge of the outer ankle and the root bone.
3. Houxi point, located in the palm of the hand, is in the depression of the red and white meatus of the proximal part of the ulnar side of the fifth metacarpophalangeal joint (the junction of the heart of the hand and the dorsum of the hand, and the heart of the foot and the dorsum of the foot). Both Houxi and Shenwei points are the meeting points of the eight veins, and they are compatible with the upper and lower parts of the body, which can channel qi and blood.
4. Tianzhu point, horizontal to the superior border of the spinous process of the second cervical vertebra, in the depression of the lateral edge of the trapezius muscle. It is a localized point, which can dredge and regulate qi and blood in the neck, soothe the tendons and bones, and open the meridians and collaterals.
5. Cervical Spine Point, located on both sides of the cervical vertebrae, at 0.5 inches from the rear center line. It is a localized acupoint, which can dredge qi and blood in the cervical region.
After the appearance of cervical spondylosis, it is recommended to go to a regular medical institution in a timely manner, to determine the type of evidence for symptomatic treatment. It is not recommended to do acupuncture on your own, so as not to miss the condition and damage the body.
