There is no specified age for children to take Chicken Nei Jin, if needed, it is recommended to consult a medical professional before use.
It is used for indigestion, vomiting, regurgitation caused by food stagnation (indigestion of food and stagnation in the stomach), pediatric chancre (a chronic disease of children, manifesting as emaciation, abnormal eating and drinking, abdominal distension, and thinning and yellowing of the hair). It should be taken with caution if the spleen is deficient and there is no accumulation.
The adverse effects of the drug are not known.
Although Chicken Neijin can be used to treat pediatric chancre, infants’ spleen and stomach are weak in transportation and digestion, and their lungs and guards are delicate and not yet solid, so it is recommended that infants and young children should consult a specialist in time when they become unwell, and be treated under the guidance of a professional physician, rather than using medication on their own.
