Diabetic fundus hemorrhage can be treated, and comprehensive ophthalmologic examination should be performed, such as fundus examination after dilating pupils, fluorescent imaging, followed by retinal photocoagulation, or vitrectomy surgery, or intravitreal injection with anti-vascular endothelial growth factor, which can be effective in preserving vision. Strict glycemic control is required, and the use of drugs such as methylcobalamin, prostaglandin analogs, aldose reductase inhibitors, and lipoic acid can alleviate neuropathy. Anticonvulsants, selective 5-hydroxytryptamine reuptake inhibitors and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor analogs can also be used to relieve neuropathic pain. Currently, diabetic fundus hemorrhage can be treated with good results, and strict control of blood sugar by the patient after surgical treatment can avoid recurrence of the disease as well as other complications.
