Urinary occult blood (++) and high red blood cells are most often seen in inflammatory diseases of the urinary system, tuberculosis, stones, tumors, and bleeding disorders. In addition to occult blood, inflammation of the urinary tract is often accompanied by bladder irritation, in which case a urine culture can be done and further treatment with sensitive antibiotics can be given according to the culture results. If it is caused by stones, it is often accompanied by renal colic, which can be treated with drugs or extracorporeal impact lithotripsy according to the size of the stones. If it is a tumor, further conservative or surgical treatment is needed according to the benign or malignant condition of the patient. In the case of hematuria caused by renal tuberculosis, anti-tuberculosis treatment is required.
