1. Scutellaria baicalensis Qingning Capsule is composed of Scutellaria baicalensis glycosides, Chaihu, and artificial oxalis. It has the efficacy of clearing heat and removing toxins (removing heat, toxins and evil qi from the body), and reconciling the exterior and interior. It is used for fever, malignant cold (fear of cold), sore throat and turbid nasal discharge caused by evil in the lungs and guards.
There was one case of abnormal elevation of blood creatinine in the clinical trial. It is prohibited for those who are allergic to this product, and should be used with caution for those with allergic constitution, liver and kidney insufficiency. Avoid smoking, alcohol, spicy, cold and greasy food during the period of taking the medicine, and should not take tonic Chinese medicine at the same time.
2. Dandelion is a Chinese medicine, commonly used in tablets, capsules, oral liquid and so on. It is composed of dandelion, scutellaria baicalensis, bittersweet, and root of Panax quinquefolium. It has the effects of clearing heat and removing toxins, dispersing nodules and subduing swellings. It is used for boils, mumps, pharyngitis, lymphadenitis and tonsillitis.
The adverse reactions of this drug include nausea, vomiting, abdominal distension, abdominal pain, diarrhea, dizziness, fatigue, rash, itching and so on. It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to the product and the ingredients contained in it, and should be used with caution by those with allergies and those with spleen and stomach deficiency (spleen and stomach weakness and cold). Avoid spicy and stimulating food during the period of taking the medicine, and it is also not advisable to take warm and hot medicines at the same time.
