Urinary incontinence in patients with brain hemorrhage is caused by impaired brain function, and the first step is to actively treat the primary disease and improve brain function. When brain function is restored or partially restored, urinary incontinence symptoms will improve, but it will take a longer time, and even incontinence cannot be restored. Therefore, while treating the primary disease, tests such as bladder pressure measurement can be performed, along with targeted incontinence rehabilitation treatment and rehabilitation training. Acupuncture can be used to improve urinary function, while bladder function training can be carried out in three stages: indwelling catheterization, disposable catheterization and establishment of a reflex bladder. Drinking water regularly, discharging urine regularly and training the awareness of urination to make the filling and emptying of the bladder close to the physiological state. Based on theoretical learning and conditioned reflexes, the patient’s bladder’s urinary storage and voiding functions are restored through subjective awareness and functional exercises to achieve recovery and or partial recovery of lower urinary tract functions. Functional training of pelvic floor muscles is also performed to help the recovery of voiding function.
