Four-shot method: mainly applicable to the brand of rabies vaccine that has been approved and can be used in this program in China, it is two doses on day 0, that is, one dose in the deltoid muscle of the left and right upper arm, and one dose each on day 7 and day 21, a total of four doses. Rabies is an autophagic disease, and the rabies vaccine should be administered according to the program after any high-risk exposure without any contraindications, but the recipient should be fully questioned about his or her individual basic condition before vaccination, and even if there are circumstances that make the vaccine unsuitable, he or she should receive the vaccine under close supervision in order to avoid any adverse consequences.
