What is the result of a blood test?

If the blood HCG is greater than 10mIU/ml, it indicates pregnancy. Whether it is intrauterine pregnancy, ectopic pregnancy, biochemical pregnancy or gravidarium is subject to further clinical examination, and the blood can be drawn every other day to check the value of blood HCG again. If the blood HCG value doubles every other day, it indicates intrauterine pregnancy; if it doesn’t double, but only rises a little bit, it may be ectopic pregnancy; if it doesn’t rise, but falls, it is likely to be a biochemical pregnancy; if there is an abnormally high blood HCG value in the clinic, it is likely to be a gravidarium or a multiple pregnancy. Therefore, ultrasound examination is needed to know whether the pregnancy is intrauterine or extrauterine, to know the location of the gestational sac, and to know whether the yolk sac or embryonic tissue can be seen in the uterus.
