AIDS can be categorized into acute, asymptomatic and AIDS, with different symptoms in different periods.
1. Acute phase: The acute phase of AIDS occurs 2 to 4 weeks after infection with the human immunodeficiency virus, and patients often have fever, fatigue, sore throat and general discomfort similar to upper respiratory tract infection, which lasts for 1-3 weeks and can be relieved on its own.
2. Asymptomatic period: this period is as short as a few months, up to 20 years. Patients have no clinical manifestations, and some patients may have persistent lymph node enlargement.
3. AIDS period: patients with AIDS will have fever, night sweats, diarrhea, weight loss of more than 10% for more than 1 month, persistent generalized lymph node enlargement, various opportunistic infections and tumors.
It is recommended that patients with AIDS need to consult a doctor in a timely manner, and the doctor will take positive and appropriate treatment measures after clarifying the patient’s condition, so as not to delay the condition.
