Congenital intestinal atresia is a kind of congenital malformation of the digestive tract, the cause of its occurrence is not yet completely clear, there are three main hypotheses: 1, intestinal vacuolization: this doctrine that in the process of fetal intestinal development, due to the accumulation of intestinal epithelial cells, intestinal temporary blockage, with the development of the embryo, the blockage of intestinal tube vacuoles, vacuoles continue to expand, fusion, intestinal tube is once again open, if the process of vacuolization If the process of vacuolization stops, the child will have blockage of intestinal tubes, resulting in intestinal atresia; 2. Vascular theory: this theory believes that in the process of fetal development, a section of the intestinal blood supply problems occur, such as congenital vascular anomalies, congenital intestinal malformation, congenital intestinal torsion or intestinal torsion, which causes part of the intestinal tubes to be ischemic, necrotic, fracture, or even lack of, thus resulting in intestinal atresia; 3. Inflammation theory: this theory believes that in the process of fetal development, part of the intestinal tubes become inflammatory, which is commonly seen in the development of embryos. Inflammation occurs in part of the intestinal tube, and common inflammatory diseases such as perforated appendicitis in fetal period and necrotizing enterocolitis in fetal period cause necrosis of the intestinal tube and lead to intestinal atresia.
