Atherosclerosis is a major cause of cerebral hemorrhage, cerebral thrombosis, myocardial infarction, angina pectoris, heart failure, and premature beats.
How is atherosclerosis formed?
It is called atherosclerosis because cholesterol is deposited on the inner lining of arteries, resulting in a porcelain-like unevenness on the inner surface of arteries. The causes are internal (including genetic factors) and external (including environmental factors).
From the perspective of genetic factors
Some families have coronary heart disease, some have diabetes, some have oncology, and some have schizophrenia. For those with a family history, the genetic predisposition may be intergenerational or paternal. Age and gender are also two factors that cannot be ignored. According to a survey of 700,000 people over the age of 35 in Beijing, the incidence of coronary heart disease and cerebral hemorrhage increased three times every 10 years, and the rate of atherosclerosis formation also accelerated with age. In terms of gender, women are protected by ovarian hormones before menopause, so atherosclerosis rarely occurs, and they rarely get coronary heart disease and myocardial infarction, so the ratio of men to women with myocardial infarction is 9:1 before the age of 50; however, after the age of 50, women’s ovarian function atrophies, and the number of myocardial infarction patients also increases, and the ratio of men to women is 3:1 at the age of 60; by the age of 70, the ratio of men to women is close to 1:1; by the age of 80 At the age of 80, there are slightly more women than men. These figures suggest that women should pay special attention to blood pressure and heart problems after menopause.
Although genetic factors, age and gender are unlikely to change, they are not the most important (only 30%), and the most important are external environmental factors, which account for about 70%.
External factors include seven kinds: high blood pressure, high blood fat, smoking, obesity, too little exercise, psychological tension imbalance and diabetes. The first three of these are the main external factors. High blood pressure is a silent killer, it will make the atherosclerosis of arteries 20 to 40 years in advance, so it must be treated early. High blood fat and obesity is also a very important risk factor. Obesity is divided into “apple type” and “duck pear type”. Apple-type obesity belly big, commonly known as “general belly”, such body shape of people, the body fat mainly accumulated in the viscera, heart, arteries, so more dangerous; “duck pear” obesity hip big, thick legs, belly is not big, the risk is smaller.
Prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease need to start from the following aspects.
First of all, is “one, two, three, four, five”.
”One” is a bag of milk.
From the age of one (before eating mother’s milk) adhere to drink milk every day until the life of a person’s health are beneficial. Both the calcium supplement, and can reduce the occurrence of coronary heart disease, atherosclerosis.
”Two” is 250 grams of staple food per day.
But this is not fixed, thin people can eat a little more, fat people should be less. To adjust the weight by adjusting the staple food.
”Three” is a day to eat three portions of high-protein foods.
Each high protein is 50 grams of lean meat or 100 grams of fish or a chicken leg or 100 grams of duck. Daily breakfast, lunch and dinner, each meal a high protein is appropriate.
”Four” is four phrases,
”coarse and fine, not sweet and not salty, three, four, five meals, seven or eight minutes full.” Among them, “three, four, five meals” refers to the total intake of the same amount and will increase the number of meals, which is much more beneficial than eating only two meals a day.
”Five” is 500 grams of vegetables and fruits.
Master these, we can scientifically ensure that our daily calories, protein, fiber and vitamins, fat people can also lose weight.
Second, is the “red, yellow, green, white and black”.
Red: red wine. A healthy person drink about 50 ml to 70 ml of red wine every day, can reduce atherosclerosis, prolong life.
Yellow: vegetables. Refers to carrots, sweet potatoes, pumpkins, tomatoes and other red and yellow vegetables containing more vitamin A.
Green: green tea: tea is good for health, tea and green tea is the best. Drinking green tea can reduce the occurrence of tumors and coronary heart disease.
White: oatmeal or oat flour. Consumption of oats, can lower cholesterol. 50 grams per day (staple food should be reduced by 50 grams accordingly), boiled in water for 3-10 minutes, with milk to eat.
Black: black fungus. Eat 10 grams of black fungus every day, adhere to 50 days, blood viscosity decreased, not easy to form cerebral thrombosis and the occurrence of myocardial infarction, and can dissolve the recent infarction and thrombosis.
Adhere to these two aspects, for each person, whether it is treatment or prevention, will play a positive role.
