Cervical screening is done once every few years

But due to the differences in each region, city, and medical level, if there are conditions, it is recommended to do screening once a year is better, because the liquid-based cytology examination, the need for cytology doctors to read the film, each hospital due to technical conditions, there may be problems, so there are conditions recommended to do screening once a year, combined screening will be better. If it appears that there is a problem, further tests will be done, usually colposcopy, and under the guidance of colposcopy, a cervical biopsy may be done to clarify the diagnosis. If there is still no abnormal lesion found after cervical biopsy, some patients with HPV infection are also asked to still be reviewed for about a year to do the appropriate tests, and if there is still a problem with cytology, the review time may have to be shortened again.
