Does a physical blood test check for AIDS?

Physical examination blood tests do not include HIV-related tests. Physical examination programs generally do not just include routine blood tests. If these programs include HIV antibody tests, they will be able to check for HIV, and if they do not include HIV antibody tests, they generally will not be able to check for HIV. The blood test alone does not show whether or not you have AIDS, nor does it even show whether or not you may have AIDS. If the purpose of the medical checkup is to check for blood-borne diseases, then the medical checkup may include an AIDS antibody test. However, if it is a general physical examination for the organization, just to check your health condition, most of the items are relatively brief, and AIDS antibodies and other blood-borne diseases are probably not included in these items. If you want to know whether or not you have AIDS, you can try to include AIDS antibodies in your medical checkup program or go to the hospital and take an AIDS antibody test yourself.
