The difference between testicular tumor and cyst is as follows: first of all, they are different in nature, testicular tumor is malignant lesion, which needs surgery and other treatments; cyst is benign lesion, and small cysts in general do not need treatment. Secondly, testicular tumors and cysts can be distinguished by imaging tests, ultrasound and CT can be done, and MRI can be done if necessary. Tumors and cysts can be clearly distinguished in ultrasound and CT, and their performances are different. Then, tumor markers can be passed, in the case of testicular tumor, tumor markers may be elevated; while cysts will not cause elevation of tumor markers. Finally, clinical examination, clinical examination when the testicular tumor has a hard texture and a feeling of falling; cysts will have a softer texture if they can be palpated.
