Stone formation is associated with metabolic abnormalities, urinary tract obstruction, infection, foreign bodies, and drug use.
Most of the stones formed in patients with calcium stones, mostly calcium oxalate, a small number of calcium phosphate; the more common urinary stones, gallstones may be formed for the following reasons:
1. urinary stones: refers to the occurrence of stones in the kidney, ureter, bladder and other urinary system, can be caused by metabolic abnormalities such as urinary pH, high blood calcium, high urinary calcium, etc., urinary tract obstruction or infection, as well as certain drug factors.
(1) Abnormal metabolism: most of the urinary stones are composed of human metabolites, and the different components of the stones can reflect the metabolic abnormalities of the corresponding components in the body. Any physiological disorders caused by abnormal composition may initiate stone formation and promote stone growth.
(2) Local factors: stones caused by local factors in the urinary tract system are mostly formed on the basis of other pathologies. Urinary tract obstruction, infection and the presence of foreign bodies in the urinary tract are the main local factors that induce stone formation. Obstruction can lead to infection and stone formation, and stones can also aggravate the degree of obstruction and infection.
2. Gallstones: usually caused by the accumulation of bile. Under the influence of unhealthy diet and lifestyle, it may cause bile secretion disorders, bile composition changes, etc. Crystals are precipitated from the bile, which gradually calcify and form stones.
After diagnosed with stones, you should seek medical treatment as soon as possible to avoid adverse consequences.
