What’s wrong with the hard white bumps in your ears?

A hard white bump in the ear is clinically considered to be an osteoma of the external auditory canal. Osteoma of the external auditory canal is a very common benign tumor in the external auditory canal. It is mainly an abnormal overgrowth of the bone wall of the external auditory canal, resulting in a nodular or rounded protrusion, and is most common in young people. In clinical practice, patients have little symptoms in the early stage, but they are usually found accidentally during the examination and inspection. For osteoma of the external auditory canal, if there are no symptoms in the early stage, there is no need to deal with it. If the osteoma is large and causes blockage of the ear or affects the hearing, the osteoma can be removed clinically with a high-frequency electric drill and post-operative caulking to prevent the narrowing of the external auditory canal.
