How to recognize high diastolic blood pressure alone?

Nowadays, many young and middle-aged people, due to high work pressure, poor rest and low activity, find that their blood pressure is normal in systolic pressure but higher than 90 mmHg in diastolic pressure, and sometimes the pulse pressure difference is very close, such as: 130/110 mmHg, and they feel dizziness and chest discomfort. How should we recognize this situation? Is it necessary to take hypertension medication? Simple diastolic elevation in young people can be considered as the early stage of hypertension, and after several years, simple diastolic hypertension can be transformed into classical hypertension. So, how to properly treat the phenomenon of simple diastolic elevation to avoid turning into classical hypertension? It is currently believed that non-pharmacological treatment can be started at an early stage, because people with this condition often have many less healthy habits and physical states at the same time, such as being overweight, smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, liking to eat too salty food, not exercising, etc. So, how effective is non-pharmacological treatment? We have observed that a person who weighs more than 10% of the standard body weight has a diastolic blood pressure of around 95 mm Hg, and if the weight loss is more than 5 kg, the diastolic blood pressure tends to drop to the normal range. Weight loss has a more pronounced decrease in diastolic pressure than systolic pressure. Diet therapy is also important. Diet should limit alcohol consumption, low salt (less than 6 g/day) low-fat diet, less animal fat and offal, more coarse fiber foods (such as celery), fresh vegetables, fruits, no emotional excitement, appropriate exercise, do not overexert yourself, and ensure adequate sleep and a good state of mind. The non-pharmacological treatment of high diastolic blood pressure is summarized as follows: 1, less salt, low salt diet is a habit, the beginning of the unaccustomed after a while. 2, weight loss 3, food therapy, such as celery, black fungus. 4.Cultivate good hobbies, which can help improve the quality of sleep and maintain a good state of mind. Of course, if the blood pressure cannot be lowered to less than 135/85 mmHg after 3 – 6 months of non-pharmacological treatment, you should take antihypertensive drugs. This is because the effectiveness of long-term blood pressure lowering to prevent heart, brain and kidney complications far outweighs the minor adverse effects that may be associated with antihypertensive drugs.
