The usual dosage form of Bifidobacterium tetragonum is tablets. The drug insert states that this product is to be taken after meals with warm water (with water below 50°C) or using milk. Cephalosporins, erythromycin, chloramphenicol and penicillin have an inhibitory effect on the live bacteria in this product and should not be taken together.
