Four-dimensional data cannot observe male and female.
Four-dimensional ultrasound is a three-dimensional imaging based on the plane of two-dimensional ultrasound examination, which can clearly and intuitively display the fetal body organs and observe the dynamic activities of the fetus.
Four-dimensional measurement data include fetal biparietal diameter, femur length, chest circumference, abdominal circumference, head circumference, etc. These data mainly measure whether the various fetal diameters are consistent with the actual gestational week, and can estimate fetal weight.
4D ultrasound can also check amniotic fluid and placenta. It is primarily a screening test to find out how the fetus is developing and whether there are any facial or visceral malformations. It can check whether the fetus has cleft lip and palate, polydactyly, cardiac malformations, digestive malformations and so on.
Chinese law prohibits gender identification for non-medical reasons, so there will be no images of the genitals on the 4D ultrasound report, and the data on it is a measurement of the growth of the fetus, not gender.
