How much fever does a patient with novel coronavirus pneumonia have?

Patients with novel coronavirus pneumonia often have a temperature of 38°C or higher, and some patients may also have a temperature of 39°C or 40°C or higher, and the fever may persist and medication is ineffective. Patients with these conditions need to be promptly investigated at a fever clinic. In addition, if the patient also has symptoms such as chest tightness and shortness of breath, regardless of whether he or she has a history of activity in the infected area or a history of close contact with the infected person, he or she needs to go to the hospital for investigation. If the fever has subsided after treatment and the respiratory rate is >20 breaths/min, it does not mean that the virus has been completely cleared and vigilance is needed to prevent secondary infection.
