Is survival for inert lymphoma the same as normal?

Inert lymphoma is a malignant tumor and survival is not the same as normal.
Inert lymphoma is a kind of tumor with low malignancy and slow growth process, and the 5-year survival rate of patients is over 90% and 10-year survival rate is over 80%.
However, when many patients find out their condition, they often have already reached the advanced stage of inert lymphoma, which makes the treatment more difficult. If the treatment is not timely, the patient’s condition rapidly develops and deteriorates, which will also rapidly shorten the patient’s survival period. Similarly, with aggressive treatment and proper measures, the patient’s condition is under control and his or her survival will be prolonged.
In the early stage of certain types of inert lymphoma, no treatment can be given, and regular follow-up can be conducted to observe the changes in the condition. For the treatment of advanced inert lymphoma, radiotherapy or chemotherapy is usually the main anti-tumor treatment, which can effectively inhibit the growth of cancer cells and alleviate the patient’s condition.
Although the survival period of inert lymphoma is different from that of normal people, patients should face the disease positively and cooperate with the treatment to prolong the survival period as much as possible.
