Treatment of acne on the face of boys

Acne refers to acne. There are various treatments for acne on boy’s face, including general treatment, medication, physical therapy and surgery.
1. General treatment: avoid staying up late at night, eat less stimulating food, don’t excessively scratch and squeeze the affected area, don’t use stimulating toiletries, and keep the facial skin clean.
2. Medication: topical fusidic acid cream, adapalene gel, vinpocetine ointment and other medications can be used for treatment, but also with oral medication, such as doxycycline or minocycline, isotretinoin and so on.
3. Physical therapy: Photodynamic therapy, for example, can inhibit the secretion of sebaceous glands and kill Propionibacterium acnes, as well as prevent or reduce acne scars.
4. Surgery: If facial acne is severe, surgery should be performed when necessary, such as cyst incision and drainage or ionized cyst opening.
If a boy has acne on his face, it is recommended that parents take their children to the hospital in a timely manner, and follow the doctor’s instructions for standardized treatment, do not self-medication, so as not to cause adverse reactions.
