Elevated PSA values with normal prostate MRI should not matter depends on the cause of the elevated PSA values. Serum PSA is a specific marker for prostate adenocarcinoma, prostatitis, prostate hyperplasia, urinary retention, prostate massage, catheterization, can lead to elevated PSA. If PSA is elevated due to prostatitis, prostate hyperplasia, it is recommended to check it regularly. If PSA is abnormal for a long time, greater than 10ng/ml, consider the possibility of prostate cancer, and need prostate puncture biopsy for clear diagnosis. Therefore, the prostate MRI is normal, PSA is elevated, this does not exclude the possibility of prostate cancer, so we also need to clarify whether it is prostate cancer through prostatectomy biopsy. If the patient is not feeling well, he should consult the doctor for examination and early treatment.
