Current Problems in Chinese Medicine Tumor Treatment

There are five problems in Chinese medicine tumor treatment at present: 1. Lack of professional talents in Chinese medicine tumor treatment: students trained in Chinese medicine colleges and universities are not well targeted to the tumor specialty, and most of the postgraduates in Chinese medicine tumor are engaged in basic research and lack of clinical experience. At present, the level of Chinese medicine practitioners in tumor treatment varies, and many of them have not gone through professional study or training in oncology, therefore, they do not understand the treatment methods of western medicine and the effects and toxic side effects brought by the treatment, and they cannot reasonably apply traditional Chinese medicine and appropriately combine traditional Chinese medicine treatment with western medicine treatment organically, so as to take the advantage of their own strengths to make up for the shortcomings. Insufficient inheritance and organization of folk Chinese medicine tumor treatment experience and prescription: folk prescription is also our national essence, and there are many effective prescriptions in folk medicine. However, at present, due to various factors, there is a serious lack of collation and research on folk prescriptions, resulting in the loss of many effective folk prescriptions, which can not be better applied to the clinic. Insufficient inheritance of tumor treatment experience of famous Chinese medicine practitioners: the experience of famous Chinese medicine practitioners in treating tumors is a valuable treasure for our clinical research, how to better inherit and carry forward the experience of old Chinese medicine practitioners is a major problem we are facing now. From the past situation, the inheritance of the experience of famous and old Chinese doctors is seriously insufficient. 4. Monotonous and inaccurate therapeutic effect of traditional Chinese medicine anti-cancer preparations: At present, there are no clinical preparations with extensive tumor therapeutic effect, and most of the traditional Chinese medicine preparations are auxiliary therapeutic drugs. The clinical application of Chinese medicine anti-cancer preparations lacks standardization and the application effect is not satisfactory. The key to the problem lies in the lack of specificity in the clinical application of Chinese medicine preparations. The key of Chinese medicine is to recognize the evidence and discuss the treatment, no matter the application of tonics or proprietary Chinese medicines should abide by this principle. 5, Chinese medicine tumor treatment experimental research and clinical reality is too far away: most of the current research is from experimental to experimental, lack of clinical links to support. The research tends to emphasize on the research of mechanism, focusing on the use of modern molecular biology methods to study, while ignoring the clinical utility.
