Hypothyroidism in women can be treated by oral replacement therapy with Eugenol, which is taken orally half a small dose before meals every day, depending on the patient’s thyroid hormone levels. After oral replacement therapy with Eugenol, the thyroid function will be checked every 4-6 weeks and the dosage will be adjusted according to the hormone level until the thyroid function is completely normal. The cautionary note after eugenol treatment is that patients with hypothyroidism need lifelong replacement therapy with eugenol, because their own thyroid hormone levels are low, and oral eugenol can only treat the thyroid hormone levels to normal levels, but after stopping the medication the thyroid hormone levels will drop again to the untreated state.
