Which acupressure point can regulate menstrual irregularities

Acupuncture points that can regulate the absence of menstruation include Qihai, Shusanli, Daxi, and Blood Sea.
1. Qihai point: located in the lower abdomen, 1.5 inches below the umbilicus, on the front center line. It is used for the treatment of deficiency, lethargy, weakness, pain around the umbilicus, diarrhea, dysentery, constipation, dysuria (unsmooth urination), and enuresis.
2. Foot Sanli Point: located on the lateral side of the lower leg, 3 inches below the calf’s nose, 1 transverse finger outside the anterior ridge of the tibia, on the line between the calf’s nose and Xiexi. Mainly treats stomach pain, vomiting, abdominal distension, diarrhea, dysentery and constipation.
3. Great Vertebrae Point: Located in the spinal region, in the depression under the spinous process of the 7th cervical vertebra, on the posterior midline. It is used for treating fever, malaria, chills (fear of cold), fever, cough, asthma, child’s convulsion (a pediatric disease mainly manifested by dizziness, convulsions, and seizures), strong neck, spinal pain, and acne.
4. Blood Sea Point: Located in the anterior femoral area, 2 inches above the medial end of the patellar base, at the elevation of the medial femoral (inner thigh) muscle. It is used for treating irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, cryptorchid rash, eczema, salpingitis (an acute infectious disease in which the skin is seen to be reddened as if painted), and medial knee-femur pain.
There are many more acupoints for regulating irregular periods. Patients with irregular periods need to consult a doctor in time to clarify the cause of the disease and carry out targeted treatment.
