Do not drink alcohol within a few hours after eating persimmons

You should not drink alcohol for at least three hours after eating persimmons. In particular, you should not drink white wine immediately because it will seriously affect the digestive function and put a huge burden on the gastrointestinal tract. After drinking, the carbohydrates, proteins and alcohol in wine will stimulate the gastrointestinal tract and promote the secretion of gastric acid, while the tannic acid and pectin in persimmons will react with gastric acid and cause discomfort, so it is not advisable to drink wine while eating persimmons. For some people with good digestion, occasional small amounts of persimmons eaten with wine are not harmful, but most people, after consuming both, will have digestive symptoms such as diarrhea and abdominal distension, which can lead to gastrointestinal bleeding or gastrointestinal ulcers in serious cases. Therefore, try not to drink alcohol after eating persimmons, and for those who are addicted to alcohol, ensure at least three hours of digestion and absorption time before drinking small amounts of alcohol, but of course, the longer the time between the two, the safer it is.
