Warm Bile Tang is suitable for oral administration and is effective in regulating Qi, resolving phlegm, clearing bile and harmonizing the stomach.
Wen Bile Tang is from “Three Causes and One Disease Certificate Formulas”, which is composed of Citrus aurantium, Pinellia ternata, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae Praeparatae and Poria.
This formula can be used in treating bile-stomach disharmony and internal disturbance of phlegm-heat, which can be seen in biliousness (fearfulness in the heart, not daring to see others, easily frightened), deficiency disturbance (disturbance caused by deficiency heat in the body), insomnia and excessive dreaming, vomiting and eructation (nausea, vomiting and hiccups), vertigo and epilepsy.
The usage of Wen Bile Tang is to add ginger and jujube to the above 5 five herbs and take it with decoction of water. The adverse reactions and contraindications of Wen Bile Tang are not clear, need to be used under the guidance of a doctor, do not blindly self-medication to avoid causing damage to the organism.
