Bleeding in the fifth month or so of pregnancy is more critical and the cause of the bleeding should be identified promptly. Common causes include miscarriage, placenta praevia, placental abruption and so on.
1. Miscarriage: Clinical manifestations are vaginal bleeding and abdominal pain after menopause. If the amount of bleeding is small, you should take proper rest, prohibit sexual life, and if the symptoms disappear, you can continue the pregnancy. If the amount of vaginal bleeding increases, it may develop into inevitable miscarriage, which usually requires timely termination of pregnancy.
2. Placenta praevia: It is one of the most common causes of vaginal bleeding in late pregnancy. The contractions should be suppressed, anemia should be corrected, infection should be prevented, and the pregnancy should be terminated if necessary.
3. Placental abruption: clinical manifestations are vaginal bleeding and abdominal pain. It is a serious complication in late pregnancy, if not handled in time, it can jeopardize the life of mother and child. Shock should be corrected in time and pregnancy should be terminated in time.
If bleeding occurs in more than 5 months of pregnancy, you should be admitted to the hospital in time to clarify the cause of the disease and be treated under the guidance of the doctor.
