Small bowel imaging can check for gastrointestinal bleeding and abdominal pain. 1-2 days before the small bowel imaging, choose a low-residue, easy-to-digest diet. Fast and abstain from food and water the night before the examination to avoid affecting the results. Under the doctor’s guidance, take barium sulfate suspension on an empty stomach 1-2 hours before the imaging. Maintain a good mood during the examination, avoid bad emotions, and notify the doctor immediately if there is any discomfort. The procedure takes about 8-10 minutes, and the examination is safe and trauma-free, so there is no need to worry too much. The main examination site of enterography is the small intestine. It is not very intuitive to check whether there are ulcers and obstruction symptoms in the small intestine with barium meal or X-ray, and it can only reflect the disease condition from the side. The diagnosis of small intestine diseases is a blind spot in the clinic, and gastroscopy and colonoscopy cannot reach the small intestine smoothly, so small intestine CT angiography is an important examination method to diagnose small intestine diseases. The preparation before angiography is troublesome and the intestine needs to be completely evacuated.
