A cystic solid thyroid space is an imaging characterization of an intra-thyroidal lesion that suggests a heterogeneous composition within the corresponding lesion. Most thyroid lesions are determined clinically by ultrasonography. A soft tissue shadow with fluid echoes is found within the lesion, and a cystic-solid occupancy is diagnosed for lesions for which a specific diagnosis cannot be made. If this occupying lesion is potentially malignant, further investigation under the guidance of the clinician is required. If malignant lesions are found in the thyroid gland, accompanied by abnormalities in the surrounding tissues, it is necessary to consult a doctor for timely observation and standardized treatment after diagnosis of the disease to avoid delays in the condition.
