What to do with a broken bone?

The treatment of patients with bone fracture is mainly to rescue shock, bandage wounds, proper fixation and rapid transportation. 1. Rescue shock: first check the general condition of the fracture patient, in shock should pay attention to heat preservation to reduce moving, immediately transfusion of fluids and blood transfusion, craniocerebral injuries in shock should be to keep the airway open. 2. Dressing the wound: stop bleeding with tourniquet when bleeding from large blood vessels; it is better to use inflatable tourniquet; use sterile dressing to dress the wound; the fracture should not be reset when the wound has been poked out, so as to avoid dirt being brought into the depth of the wound. 3. Proper immobilization: avoid excessive moving of the affected limb in case of closed fracture; do not remove the shoes, socks or pantyhose of the diseased limb; if the swelling is serious, scissors should be used to cut open the clothes to reduce the pressure; if the fracture has obvious deformity, the diseased limb can be appropriately tractioned, and then be immobilized after it is stabilized. 4. Rapid transportation: after initial treatment, the patient should be transferred to the nearest hospital for treatment. It is not advisable to take action without authorization to prevent aggravation of the condition when the fracture occurs. Professional help should be sought in time and the patient should be sent to the hospital as soon as possible for treatment.
