The symptoms of the baby’s pre-coronary heart disease are related to the type and severity of pre-coronary heart disease, and the common types are atrial septal defect, ventricular septal defect, arterial catheterization, tetralogy of Fallot and so on. 1. Atrial septal defect: if the defect is small, it can be asymptomatic, and babies are often found during physical examination; if the defect is large, it can be characterized by lethargy, fatigue, shortness of breath after exertion, and susceptibility to colds, etc. Severe defects can be characterized by bruising of the whole body. 2. Ventricular septal defect: if the defect is small, usually no symptoms, the baby will grow and develop normally; if the defect is large, then the baby can appear soon after birth, sweating, bluish color after crying, difficulty in breastfeeding, lips and fingertips bruises and other symptoms, and it is easy to suffer from respiratory infections again and again. 3. Arterial ductus arteriosus: The severity of symptoms is related to the thickness of the ductus. If combined with pulmonary hypertension, cyanosis may occur. 4. Tetralogy of Fallot: the main characteristic is cyanosis. Cyanosis may persist after birth and become obvious around 4 months after birth, and it is most obvious at the tip of nose, lips and nail beds of fingers (toes).
