What’s wrong with high neutrophils and low lymphocytes?

Patients with high neutrophils and low lymphocytes may be suffering from infectious diseases, such as acute purulent appendicitis, poisoning, bacterial infections, and stress.
1. Acute suppurative inflammation: If the patient’s appendiceal tissues are severely irritated, acute suppurative appendicitis will be gradually induced. Laboratory tests may show an increase in the proportion of neutrophils and a gradual decrease in lymphocytes.
2. Poisoning: Poisoning, such as lead poisoning, mercury poisoning, etc., may also lead to high neutrophils and lowered lymphocytes, requiring prompt medical attention.
3. Bacterial infections: Patients with bacterial infections, such as respiratory infections caused by a variety of bacteria, urinary tract infections, appendicitis, etc., may cause neutrophils in the patient’s body to decrease. It may make the patient’s body neutrophils high lymphocytes lower.
4. Stress: stress mainly refers to the process of adaptive response of the human body in the face of external stimulating factors. If left untreated, it may cause the patient to have high neutrophils and lowered lymphocytes.
Once a patient has high neutrophils and lowered lymphocytes, he or she needs to go to the hospital immediately and receive active treatment.
