Infants have the most delicate skin and should use mild, soothing, and less irritating topical ointments. If there is no exudation from the affected area, apply topical neomycin zinc oxide paste, glyburide lotion, or weak hormone ointment. For heavier lesions, desensitizing, anti-inflammatory and anti-itching drugs can be taken at the same time. Attention should be paid to the skin care of the affected child. Drool and spit milk should be wiped clean with a soft cloth in time to avoid stimulating the skin around the mouth; the skin lesions should not be washed and scalded with hot water and soap and laundry detergent; diapers need to be changed in time, and the changed diapers should not be dried indoors in the shade; it is better to wash them in hot water and put them outside to blow and dry. Children’s intimate clothing, do not use plastic, rubber products, such as a variety of “diapers” tissue, etc.; underwear to choose pure cotton fabric, do not use woolen or chemical fiber products. For breast-fed babies, mothers should avoid spicy and stimulating foods, such as sea fish, shrimp, crab, shellfish, chili peppers, fried, fried, barbecued food, etc.; the baby’s room needs air circulation, frequent ventilation; the baby’s skin function is not yet perfect, pay attention to warmth, but also not too high temperature, the baby sweating more can stimulate the skin, causing prickly heat or eczema, resulting in itching of the affected skin. In addition, during acute episodes of eczema in infants, various vaccinations should be avoided and timely consultation with a dermatologist should be sought.
