Does a fracture hurt even if you don’t move?

After a fracture, even if you do not move, you will feel pain because there is a tingling sensation after the fracture. However, when a fracture occurs, it is advisable not to move so as to avoid stimulation of the fracture end and thus reduce the symptoms of pain, in addition to reducing local soft tissue damage and swelling of the limb.  After a fracture, it is recommended to seek medical attention to confirm the diagnosis and assess the severity of the fracture by taking a film in time to take effective treatment measures to relieve the pain caused by the fracture. If the fracture is mild, it can be fixed with a small splint or external fixation with a plaster brace, while for more serious fractures, surgical treatment with incision and internal fixation is required.
